Having waited for a long while for my 4 oscillators and also having read the previous review, I found that my oscillators track well, maybe they've fixed the problem. There is a preset on the back which allows the user to fine tune the tracking .

The overall build quality is excellent especially considering the price. The controls have a feel of quality even if, behind the panel, they are tiny.

Sound: I used one of the original ARP 2500 systems in the 1970s and I knew what I wanted to hear. These small, cheap oscillators deliver. By using them with the other modules in the range you can hear some of the characteristics of the original 2500 in general and I am happy with that. The only thing missing is some of the noise which came from all those matrix switches but unless you are wanting it, it's no problem.

Summing up: Great value. Authentic sound. Reasonably authentic handling. Did I mention great value?

Great VCO, with fixable tracking issues.

If you get more that one get ready to crack it open to get the calibrations to match across the set. Other than that it’s a huge vco with tons of character!

Build Quality and Unboxing
Right out of the gate, the packaging is very nice—secure and professional, which is always a relief. Once you get it in your hands, the build quality is impressive. The aluminum plate feels robust and looks great in the rack, giving it a premium feel that masks its affordable price point.

Precision and Performance
The inclusion of fine-tune buttons makes a world of difference for precise pitch matching, especially when you’re trying to dial in those subtle beat frequencies. More importantly, the signal is crystal clear. I’ve been blown away by the excellent stability as driven by a 960; it tracks beautifully and stays in tune even during long sessions.

The "Additive" Experience
The workflow is a joy. It is essentially additive in nature—you can just keep adding waveforms to create complex, harmonically rich textures. It is incredibly intuitive to build up a sound just by layering.

Versatility
Don't sleep on its utility beyond audio frequencies. It functions perfectly as an LFO, and having access to all those different waveforms for modulation makes it a powerful tool for movement within a patch.

Bottom Line: Classic 2500 sound without the vintage price tag (around $500 back in 1970).

This is a powerful oscillator, being able to mix the different waveforms is brilliant, never a dull moment and a possible 120 different variations.
My favourite Behringer Oscillator by far.
