Brennenstuhl Premium-Protect-Line 8 Way 3m

I use the power strips of the Brennenstuhl Premium-Protect-Line in my home studio and on location recording of gigging jobs, or for temporary studios when working abroad. (I use a Furman in my work studio). The Brennenstuhl protects my gear from spikes and gets rid of some hums and hisses because of dirty power, and is easy enough to bring on tour. I also use it in exhibitions and museums for the same reason.

I have not had any issue with them, and I have been using them for about 10 years now. In some spots with some dodgy electricity, they really helped, and in any case made me a bit more secure about leaving my gear plugged in there.

The switch is well constructed and doesn't show any sign of wear after a lot of use. The rest of the construction is still fine as well. This particular model does no longer have the 'wings' at the ends of the power strip which were ideal for rolling up the cable, but I can live with that.

A great thing to have in a home studio. And very helpful if you sometimes need to work in places with older power grids.
