Bought this keyboard so my 3 year old can play on it, but also for me to (yankee) doodle on it as well. It is a great device for bonding with my child. The keyboard has a lot of useful features for it to be used by a small child: light weight (1kg), can be battery operated (I recommend getting some rechargeable batteries instead of the adaptor which is not included), mini keys (usable by adults too), 10 preset songs that you can play along to, 50 rhythms and 100 sounds. You can pitch shift 1 octave up or down, and you can also transpose 12 semitones up or down, so you can technically expand the range of the keyboard two octaves up or two octaves down (combining the octave function with the transpose function). Middle C is the 8th note on the keyboard, so I usually play 1 octave lower (making it the 20th note). On casio's website you can download a pdf with the sheet music of the 10 song. All in all, it is a fun product for small children and adults to play some music.
