Best Rock Heads to Buy

When I bought me a new Drum Kit there were clear heads dilivered with it and I was very satisfied with them. But after a while I realised that I needed a darker and in my opinion more powerful Sound. The Evans G2 Fusion 2 Set Coated just gave what I wanted. They have a very powerful und defined sound even though they are not clear.
The Fact that they come as a pack consisting of 3 toms is to my mind just perfect. You save a lot of money instead of buying each one piece by piece, and the Thomann crew delievers perfectly in time. I totaly recommend these heads for every drummer no matter if pro or rookie.

Very versatile

I've tried high mid and low tunings on these heads and all of them sound very nice, though I'm a low tom player. Ive had them for over 6 months and I hit hard and still, you almost can't see the wear, I bet they are going to last for many months more.

Great covers

Great covers for Indie/Rock/Fusion drumming. Unbreakable, still coated look might be damaged, but it won't affect on sound.

Very good skins

They work well with my Pearl kit. The best is the floor head, it really sings and they tune up very precisely. Will buy again.

Bought these drumheads for our first gigs, and they completely changed the sound of our drums. Not very sharp, but loud and balanced.
The coated 2 ply heads are resilient and don't seem to take any damage,even after a few months of constant playing. They stay in tension even through weather and temperature shifts, and that's a big plus.
Overall, great drumheads for a decent price

G2 coated are my go-to choice anyway. Perfect bounce and sound, smack, and feel for the music I play. Now it comes in 3 size to suit my kit, making it slightly cheaper than buying individual skins. So in my opinion, what's not to like, x3.

Thanks to the level 360 collar, these drum head seats much better on my toms and are easier to tune than the equivalent heads from other brands. Highly recommended!

G2 is a quality batter head. Nice upgrade from G1.

Coated drumheads have less attack/bite than clear heads. So these sound less aggressive. Less rock.

Less is more, right?
