Flight Aviator Baritone Mango CE

Make no mistake this is Flight's take/copy of the Kala Night Owl. With that plaster ripped off let's talk!! The night owl doesn't come as a baritone for a start(yet). So win for flight! Also the baritone is cheaper than the kala tenor! Win again!! The bolt on neck is the reason the Aviator is cheap. I personally have no issue with that. Some people may not like it visually. I really don't think the sound suffers at all from this. The Baritone is loud, articulate and clear. As a slimline you can dig in a bit more than a full body baritone. It has a bit more attack. The Mango top give each uke a unique look as no two pieces of mago look alike. Each one looks custom. I was not a fan of the Aquilla bblack strings. They squeak a little on the plucking finger!! Swapped them for worth brown but kept the wound D and G. Fantastic uke for the money. Well done Flight and well done Thomann

Das Instrument überzeugt auf ganzer Linie. Optisch ist es wirklich ein Hingucker und erinnert stark an die Kala Revelator Night Owl – wirkt dabei aber deutlich günstiger, ohne an Ausstrahlung zu verlieren. Besonders beeindruckend ist das geringe Gewicht, wodurch es sehr angenehm in der Hand liegt und auch bei längeren Sessions nicht ermüdet.

Klanglich liefert es einen überraschend lauten und klaren Ton, der sich gut durchsetzt. Die Mechaniken arbeiten leichtgängig und präzise, was das Stimmen unkompliziert macht. Auch das Griffbrett fühlt sich sehr angenehm an und lässt sich sauber und komfortabel bespielen.

Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist das mitgelieferte, gepolsterte Gigbag, das nicht nur gut aussieht, sondern das Instrument auch zuverlässig schützt.

Insgesamt ein optisch gelungenes, leichtes und klangstarkes Instrument mit hervorragendem Spielgefühl – besonders empfehlenswert für alle, die eine preisgünstige Alternative mit hochwertiger Anmutung suchen.
