Uses 6 strings , strat mostly half step downtuned or normal. Some Fortin pedals are for high gain only and not worked out - but this one - is just so good. 3 different character and Signal Levels covers the spectrum with tight distinct dist or just as booster. 2 channel possibilities switch between choosen settings and pedal type - worth every penny vs cost all three pedals bought separate this is in one. Also - the TONE last 10% max gets the sound so much brighter the it 'takes off the blanket from speaker' in ears some says about TS- pedals - leaving the Greeny Tube freq area maiking it versatile imo.
