KRK S12G4

I have Yamaha HS8 monitors and previously bought an HS8S matching sub for them, which is great, but I couldn’t feel the sound in my body as much as I wanted with it. So I decided I need a bigger woofer :) And rightfully so, because this thing slams! I was really wondering if my neighbors would be bothered. But as soon as it arrived and I plugged it in, this is no longer a question - they will. Needless to say, I’m returning Yamaha back to Amazon and buying a thick acoustic pad from Thomann because I’m not sure the one that comes with KRK is enough for neighbors comfort (it’s just a 3mm neoprene like sticky pad).

This sub seriously brought the sound to the new level, whether it’s watching Andor, or playing Battlefield 6 on PS5 (I can feel those helicopters like there’re there, my wife even commented that now the sound if life-like), or just listening to familiar songs, they just sound like I’ve never experienced them before, even with another (smaller) sub.

I set the input sensitivity to Nominal (default is High), and it made the punch much tighter. I use 3 o-clock volume position on the sub and 12 o-clock on HS8, with crossover set to 80Hz and very happy with the result. This is a BIG BOY and it arrives in an enormous box, so be sure you have space for it. I had to place mine upright for it to fit.

Bei einer Studiogröße von 50m2 ist ein Viertel des Lautstärkereglers absolut ausreichend. Stellt man auf maximale Lautstärke, kann man sich drei Dinge in naher Zukunft Suchen:
-Anwalt
-neues Studio
-Fensterbauer

Das Ding hat Druck, viiieeeel Druck 😍 und nicht einfach nur laut, sondern auch extrem klarer Bass, bei maximaler Lautstärke, kein dröhnen, kein überschlagen.
Da ich Darktechno produziere, ist mir tiefer Bass sehr wichtig. Bin begeistert und 100% zufrieden 👍
Anschlüsse sind alle vorhanden, die man braucht, Sustainschalter ebenso. Es gibt viele Einstellmöglichkeiten und die installation mit KRK Monitoreen ist extrem einfach, da der Sub nur die Frequenzen weiter an die Monitore gibt, die er selber nicht erreicht👍👍 Ich empfehle die KRK App zum einstellen und ausmessen zu verwenden, falls man keine 300€+ ausgeben will für teure Messtechnik. Die App ist hilfreich und ziemlich exakt, wenn man ein gutes Handy hat. Verschlimmbessern tut man mit der App garantiert nichts👌

En ruskigt bra SUB som kommer göra att du hör alla frekvenser du tidigare har missat. Ett stort minus är att skyddsgallret som man kan köpa till borde faktiskt ingå när man ändå har lagt så mycket pengar på denna SUB. Men den gör verkligen ett fantastiskt jobb och ger det där djupet som dina monitorer saknar. Så är du en producent och går i tankarna på att skaffa en SUB så är detta den som du bör införskaffa.
