Kurzweil KaE1-LB

Llevo poco tiempo con él pero mis impresiones son muy favorables. No se puede pedir más por menos dinero.
Los sonidos de piano y piano eléctrico son fantásticos, el resto de sonidos francamente bajan mucho pero para mi trabajo este hecho no tiene importancia.
El tacto del piano es excelente. y los altavoces son lo suficientemente potentes como para poder estudiar sin amplificarlo.
Tiene un pequeño y muy básico ecualizador de graves/agudos y una reverb y un chorus también bastante elementales.
Es un teclado que puede servirte perfectamente para los ensayos e incluso para pequeñas actuaciones en directo.
En resumen, un precio excepcionalmente bajo para la calidad de sus sonidos de piano y el tacto de sus teclas

This is an underrated and brilliant keyboard.
The action and feel of the keys is the best I have played on any digital piano. I've tried many; amongst them the popular Roland FP's and StudioLogic Grand 88 - as well as Yamaha's, Kawai's and vintage Rolands, M Audio's etc. I sent them all back or sold them. The action was either really heavy of too light and springy - both causing hands to ache.

The closest would be the Roland FP30 - but with lighter action and also not so unnecessarily chubby underneath; can't have it at the right height under a computer / control room table because of the reverb laden speakers underneath - not this one thankfully.

I'm using it with my Yamaha Reface via a Kenton midi box - so for under £600 for both keyboards I've got a great feeling / sounding Rhodes - its also pretty light so gigging is no problem

Great easy interface and 2x EQ controls with reverb ON / OFF. Touch controls (light / normal / heavy), good speakers facing up on the top + good basic internal sounds. A real bargain at £330.

Finally, excellent support and delivery from Thomas - questions answered and packing and tracking 10/10

Ich habe mir das KURZWEIL vor allem für kleinere Liveeinsätze oder Chorproben gekauft, bei denen ich nicht immer weiteres Equipment herumschleppen möchte. Ausserdem soll es mir als Klaviertatstatur in Verbindung mit VST-Plugs dienen.
Das KaE1 kam gut verpackt an und ist mit ca. 18kg noch halbwegs transportabel.
Angeschlossen, Piano ausgewählt - soweit erstmal schick. Tut, was es soll als Ersatzklavier.
SPEAKER: klingen kräftig, mit dem richtigen Pianosound auch durchsetzungsstark und laut genug. Super.
TASTATUR: Die finde ich großartig gelungen für diesen Preis, ist etwas härter, aber der Touch lässt sich noch einstellen. Das Spielen auch von rockigen Sequenzen macht Spaß. Klassik geht auch mal.
SOUND: Die Pianosounds sind in Ordnung. Ein etwas weicherer Pianosound und der erste Flügelsound - klingen wirklich gut. Vor allem auch über externes Equipment ;-) Ansonsten. Nun ja. Ein rhodesähnlicher E-Pianosound klingt recht gut. Die anderen sind... Geschmackssache. Was ich wirklich schade finde, dass außer den 2 Strings-sounds (die nicht schlecht klingen) keine weiteren Pads dabei sind. Das hätte ich mir anders gewünscht. Orgelsounds - auch ganz okay. Die anderen Sounds brauche ich nicht.
Fein ist der 2-Band EQ, da kann man noch bissel nachjustieren.
BEDIENUNG: EInfach nur Piano, Transpose, laut und leise, Effekte on/off - prima. Alles andere, auch die Soundanwahl der anderen Bänke (effektiv 4 Sounds auf einem Taster) = mir zu fummelig und man sieht nicht, was man gewählt hat. Auch die SONDERFUNKTIONEN sind nur mit "Geheimwissen" aus dem Manual erreichbar.
SPLIT UND LAYER: tadellos im Rahmen der verfügbaren Sounds.
Einen weiteren Wermutstropfen bildet für mich die MIDI-Einbindung via USB. Geht an sich Plug and Play. Aber: Ich habe in meiner DAW (Presonus ONE) den Eindruck hier minimal Latenz zu spüren - obwohl es doch nur MIDI ist. Das ist nicht ganz so toll - vielleicht finde ich aber noch eine andere Einstellung.
Ob ich die Bluetooth-Anbindung jemals nutze weiß ich noch nicht.
Für meine Zwecke bin ich aber erstmal zufrieden und teste mal weiter...
