Opening and closing mechanism can change the position
The opening/closing handle requires a fair bit of force and then "snaps" closed once you got over a certain point. That can lead to the position changing a bit in the process.

Excellent product for getting kit to just the right place or angle. Good selection of mounts and adapters. Locking arm needs power to lock but locks all 3 joints rigid.
