Precioso y genial
Pyrgoi 11.02.2020

Even better then i expected.
Anónimo 05.09.2016
I bought this bouzuki to play mediterranian music, in a tuning different from standard.

My main concerns with plucked folk instruments are always tuning and strings action, because from my experience going off-tune fast and uncomfortable playing due to too high\low action or wrong neck curve are very common problems.

And i'm happy to say that Matsikas got all that right, both tuning and strings action are perfect.

Built-in truss-rod with a comfortable access is a very welcome feature for everyone like me living in non-constant humidity climate.

Construction looks very robust and sturdy, nothing is loose or badly fit.

And the look and mother-of-pearl finish on bouzuki is just gorgeous, it's very pleasant to hold in hands and grabs everyone's attention too.

I currently have no complaints about this instrument.

And additional note on Thomann's delivery: it's the fastest that i've experienced through years of online shopping.

Thanks Matsikas and Thomann!

Matsikas Greek Bouzouki No 2B. Once I fitted it with my usual string arranggement
Frederick337 10.10.2013
I received this Matsikas Greek Bouzouki 2B a few days ago. It has proved already to be a great addition to my gigging instruments. Once I fitted it with my usual string arrangement G D A E . I was amazed at the tone and volume that I got from this instrument. It played beautifully from the very beginning and I now look forward to getting a good pickup system to complete the set up. I would highly recommend this Bouzouki to anybody playing or hoping to play this style of instrument. The intonation and action are excellent there was minimal adjustment to be done, mostly the bridge adjustment which has to be done at any rate. Well done Thomann you have done it again for me.

I have used the instrument for about a month and I can say that it sounds pretty good and it's comfortable to play on it. Also it looks great and the build up seems to be good. I bought this model mostly for it's truss rod (and the price ofc), I haven't used it yet, but anyway is good to have it in such an instrument.
The only con I can mention (which doesn't concern the bouzouki itself) is that when ordering it was "available immediately" on the site, but actually it wasn't. It took the support quite a bit to inform me about that, and after they did I had to wait about 3 months to get it delivered (it's handmade after all). But waiting was worth it ;)
In overall my opinion is that it's a great looking, sounding and not least affordable beginners instrument!
