It's a really tactile device. Nice satisfying thunk where there are steps, indents could have a *touch* more resistance. Nice clicky clacky keys, all super robust.

Screens are super bright and clear, loads of information. values are on screen by touch and in use.

Firmware update went without a hitch, on Linux no less. They could put the Bitwig documentation on the website rather than bury it in the extension.

The minor niggle is that the big advantage Bitwig has always had over Live is the completely open device hierarchy, and there is no story of the navigation of that space (despite 8 buttons free in Remote Control mode), or of the (pretty recent) Track and Master Remotes.

Parsing it out, one of these, if you subtract what you'd pay for a licence, is about the same as a second hand Push 2 (here, anyway), with the advantage that it's a going concern, not wildly expensive for what it does, and they are making a general instrument for multiple DAWs and are keeping a broad contingent in view.

Dafür, dass extra eine Bitwig-Sonder-Edition geschaffen wurde finde ich das Feature-Set aber etwas dürftig: Transport funktioniert nur für den Arranger nicht für Clips. Overdub hingegen wirkt auf Clip statt auf Arranger.
Die Projekt-Remotes werden auch nicht unterstützt und irgendwelche Setup- und/oder Customizing Funktionen gibt es auch nicht.

Das Plastikgehäuse ist unwürdig und die Knobs auch. Etwas cheap. Die Keys sind okay.

Ich mag das Teil aber trotzdem. Es ist sehr innovativ und motorisierte Controls sind grundsätzlich genial. Ich hoffe da kommen noch ein paar Softwareupdates. Es gibt nämlich auch noch kleine Bugs, die es auszumerzen gilt.

Excellent contrôleur pour Bitwig

Ce contrôleur motorisé est silencieux, rapide, très bien intégré avec Bitwig. Deplus, sa construction, est solide. Je recommande.

Der perfekte Midi-DAW-Controller

Funktioniert super unter Bitwig6 und LogicPro 12. Kleines Manko ist, dass man für jedes Plugin extra die Belegung eingeben muss, aber mit der dazugehörigen App ist das echt "easy"! Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist top! Ansonsten sprechen die vielen positiven YT-Videos Bände!
Ich habe 5 Sterne für den Sound gegeben, da man hier was eingeben muss... Also die Motor-Potis sind wirklich leise, deshalb 5 Sterne beim Sound ;)
