It is the only kit I could find. I would probably build my own somtimes. The suspension is not very easy to hook up as the washer is between the handle and the upper part of the suspensio). The windshield works great, but not surprise there (look at the price). The handle is comfortable.

My only real concern is with the suspension system, that is not particularly easy to set up. I've had this for 2 years (I think), and nothing broke or aged badly so far.

Yes, the heading is what I meant. Bought this kit because as we all know the Sony PCM D100 is extremely sensitive to touching and all kinds of handling noises.
I was hoping that this kit will make the handling problem go away and reduce the amount of sweat I produce while trying to not move and not breath to not ruin a take.
But this thing does nothing. Windscreen is good, but Sony PCM D100 comes with one already and this one is no better than the original one.
The only up side of this purchase is that I now have a flexible recorder mount to place it on a mic stand. That's all.
