Great solution for pedals

I have placed this product in the bottom space in my rack, where my outboard effects reside. As a bass player, I don't require to be near my effects during performance so I can simply slide the shelf out to access tuner and DI box etc. This obviously works for me as I have the rack on the floor, which means the pull-out shelf is on the ground and supported by the floor itself.

Pros - Excellent solution for outboard effects, strong velcro grip. Decent amount of surface area on the shelf. Latching switch to hold the shelf in place during transport.

Cons - The shelf takes up 2 spaces in the rack, but as soon as you add something like a Boss pedal, you will need some clearance above, so you're forced to leave an empty 1U slot free above the shelf. Approx 1/4 of the shelf is still inside the rack when it's fully slid out (No big deal).

Overall
A great solution to holding outboard effects, velcro grips are strong and sturdy. The overall build quality is excellent. Overall, very happy with this item.

Great little item this i bought 2 for my DJ Console so that i can put a controller on one side and an iPad on the other side its very well padded and comes with plenty of strong velcro sticky tape, it has a lever on the right hand side so it can't slide out on its own and is very deep the padding is quite thin so does take up about 1/4 - 1/2 U space. it looks very professional and well made and is light but strong i have hand metal draws before but the can be very heavy, which then becomes more difficult to transport, think they are a little expensive for what they are but they do work and look good so i was prepared to pay the extra.

Yeah, ich weiß nicht in wie vielen Rack / Setups ich diese Velcro Schublade schon genutzt habe ... aber ihren Job hatte sie jedes Mal gemacht ... praktisch und schnell ist nahezu jedes Equipment mit ein wenig Klettband fest und sicher verstaut und transportabel ! Die Einrastfunktion macht es immernochmit und die Schienen laufen immernoch wie am ersten Tag ... ich bin sehr zufrieden !

Mit Verkabelungen ist es schon ein wenig komplizierter, hier sollte man auf Effektivität achten und nicht darauf hoffen das dahinter noch jede Menge Stauraum bleibt ... also sauber arbeiten Jungs ! Desweiteren ist nicht jedes Klett Gegenstück ideal ... ich musste schon ein wenig suchen ! Seitdem aber bestes Gerät ... liebe diesen Rackschub ! =)
