Dynamic, detailed and lifelike sound!

Excellent build quality, easily adjustable settings, simple operation. I had read the few reviews available - mainly on forums - which were very favourable; some people claim it is the best phonostage that they’ve ever heard regardless of price. My experience is very limited but its clearly better that the £1000 Tom Evans Microgroove X plus 2.5 it replaced, which in turn was better than anything around the £1000 mark IMO. In summary, the Phono SPL is amazingly detailed, punchy, fast, dynamic, with tight well rounded bass.

Still really pleased with the SPL Phonos - cant fault it - recommended.
