I got this bass in Butternut Scoth color 4 string bass in March 2025 and surprisingly the body presented lots of green patches/halos under the first layer of its painting coat. A work very poorly done. In general, the whole finish is very average presenting a poorly assembled fretboard and very sharp frets. What makes it a desirable instrument is its very good and iconic sound. As I own also a Sire P5 5-string, I think 730 euros for this Sterling bass is not a reasonable price looking at the quality my Sire has (paid c. 650 euros, 5 string, looks and sounds like an Amarican instrument well above double its price).
