Verwende es hauptsächlich für Drum Overheads oder Vocals. Kann alles von Vintage Crunch bis Modern und Klar. Profitiert allerdings sehr von einem Guten Pre. 1073er ist mein go to für dieses hier. Achtung sehr schwer und groß, ich vertraue das mikro nur einem stabilen stand an

Noise, noise, noise...

Maybe I got faulty unit (not the first time with warm audio) but I've never heard that much noise coming from a microphone, completely unusable. Shame because it is a beautiful looking mic.

Surprise of the year …

I own (and professionally use) more than 150 (top) microphones. So far no clone satisfied me. The CK24 looked too good to be true (for the price), so (- knowing that Thomann takes it back within 30 days without a fuzz -) I decided to try it.
I have a vintage SM204 (an early C12) from the 1950s and 3 other mics with the vintage AKG CK-12 brass capsule. They sound great. No clone came close so far (though I quite like the Peluso one).
The capsules of the Warm CK24 sound really great!
The mic is VERY large & heavy - but built like a tank. The sound reminds me of a ELAM 251.
Less bottom end than a C12 … smooth, beautiful highs … - it delivers a modern pop vocal sound right out of the box!
It‘s a bit noisy … but so are my vintage originals.
No problem for close-miles pop sources … - but I wouldn’t use the mic above a string quartet, etc.
