Neve 1073 DPX Dual Preamp & EQ

Venía de una apollo x8p usando plugins de universal audio con un sphere dlx. Dudaba muchísimo sobre si hacer el desembolso de dinero o no. Me vi mil comparativas, videos de youtube, fui a un estudio profesional a escucharlo y aún así no me decidía. Finalmente decidí comprarlo junto a un Neumann u87. Os puedo decir que realmente se nota la diferencia. Puse a la gente frente a ambos micros, uno con el plugin y el otro por el neve y todos, absolutamente todos, desde los más diestros en sonido a los que no tenían ni idea de sonido notaban la diferencia (a mejor con el neve y el neumann). También he de decir que la diferencia usando cualquier otro tipo de micro era abrumadora (probé un sm7b y un sm58). ¿Qué notaba? Notaba mucho más empuje en la ganancia, mucha más definición y presencia en el sonido, unos bajos mucho más presentes y marcados, unos medios mucho más definidos. En general, el sonido no hacía falta tocarlo tanto. Al comprarlo también dudaba de si ecualizador o sin ecualizador. Creedme, pillaros la versión con eq, lo agradeceréis. Sobre todo la versión estéreo. Podéis pasar cualquier señal desde el pc por LINE, ecualizarla a ganancia cero y retornarla. La calidad que le mete a la señal supera con creces cualquier plugin.

Conclusión? Después de comprarlo me cambió por completo la visión que tenía de los plugins. Puse mucho en tela de juicio todos los videos que veía por youtube de software vs hardware y comencé a echar de menos el sonido de mi neve cuando no lo tenía. No sé cómo sonará un manley, no sé cómo sonará un warm audio que simule un neve, ni un heritage ni cualquier otro... simplemente puedo decir que mi neve suena maravillosamente y mucho mejor que usando plugins. Punto y final.

Distinguishes its self from the other copies wa73 and the heritage elite by sounding better. Eq settings are more a like a artistic choice instead of turning knobs to get rid of unpleasant sounds. With this one, many settings are just good. Turning highs down? still nice mids and bass, not dull. dailing mids in? The diverse frequencies do something different musically. I couldnt find it on the wa73. It sounded sort of empty compared to this whatever i did. Same with the Heritage elite, although that one sounded better, almost like the Neve, but not as "filled" like the Neve. Plus the Neve has more functions, that i all use in my one man studio. A quad cortex through the di, or a direct bass, a neumann tlm 103 and a sm57 through the back for drumroom, snare, vocal and/ or ac. guitar. a wa76 comp to dail in or out, before or after eq, many choices. Also compared the GA, just to find out i had to save up and spend money, I use it every day probably for a high number of years maybe forever. Its a joy to work with
