Installation is effortless with the solderless system and extremely easy; nothing can go wrong.
The sound is exactly what I was looking for; Compressed, not necessarily organic and very 'metal' sounding. Has quite low output so you have to boost it a bit on your amp.
If you are a fan of the more modern 'defined' and 'clanky' mid-high sounds of modern pickups, this is not for you. If you are looking for a pickup with a bump in the low-mids, then this is for you !

Only good things
Totally transformed the sound of my Harley Benton R-457. This pickup is smooth and creamy, easy to install. Feels almost like a PAF on steroids. Also, the guitar is now almost dead quiet when not played, which is simply amazing.
