GL
Gewa Round Back Mandolin Case
Guillermo L 28.04.2025
La mandolina para la que lo necesitaba es más bien pequeña para lo que es el estuche, pero la propia tela en la que viene envuelta se puede poner doblada en el fondo y la mandolina encaja perfectamente y sin moverse. Buena compra y a un precio razonable

Traps Ghosts
motty 01.02.2018
You know how it is. It's 3am, you've had half a lager shandy, and you find yourself bidding on ebay for a 100 year old bowlback mandolin that you don't really need but which looks really cute and is a) cheap and b) claimed to be playable.

Then you win the auction, the instrument arrives, and you realise immediately that you need some way to store the thing. Not only that but it's not really playable above the 7th fret and it's definitely haunted. Probably.

This is the case you are looking for. Holds bowlbacks. Even 100 year old bowlbacks. No ghost infestations. Does not fix the 7th fret issue, but it's a case, not a luthier. It's the case you'll transport the instrument in when you finally get around to taking it to the luthier.

If that ever happens.

relatively expensive but quality
Oscar, London 08.04.2024
Quality case for bowl back mandolins, it's relatively expensive compared to other options but you get what you pay for. Key locks are not great as is the case in most instrument cases but a good key lock would cost more than this case anyway...

Perfect Solution at a Great Price
TempusMori 02.07.2026
I recently acquired a restored bowl-back mandolin and needed a case since it did not come with one. Options were very limited, especially in the states and most of the hard cases available were too big and too expensive. The Gewa case fits my mandolin well, perfectly cradling the bowl back to keep it secure and snug. There is plenty of room in the neck area for storing cloths and other misc. items. I only wish it had a compartment (like violin and guitar cases) as I worry about things rubbing up on the wood of the neck or clanking around in there. I will just need to find a soft padded pouch without zippers or any hardware for storing my items.

This Gewa case feels very secure and is a great option on a budget for a hard case. The price is comparable to some soft cases and offers infinitely better protection for your precious mandolin. The quality actually exceeded my expectations and I would enthusiastically recommend it.
