I purchased this stand for gigs because it appeared to be the most secure and stable option. While the metal construction is sturdy, its foldable design creates an unsettling backward motion when placing the horn in the stand, which doesn't inspire confidence. Additionally, when lifting the horn out, the front leg tends to lift off the ground and then drop back down with a slight thud—something that isn’t ideal in a recording environment.

For these reasons, I’ve decided to return it. That said, I really appreciate working with Thomann—their customer service is excellent, and their return policy is hassle-free! Five stars for them!
