Comfort

I can't imagine how I lived without this.

There reasons I chose this chair are:
- I needed the drum throne to be 70cm off ground, this is one of the very few that go that high
- I needed the chair to maintain height so the pin-in-hole system for this chair are great.

First, the negatives (very negligible):
- the seat itself is quite bulky and thus does not fit in most of my bags (unless only the seat is there)
- No back rest (but can be purchased separately)
- Quite pricy (but quality justifies)

Now onto the positives:
- This thing is solid, does not move, really well built and feels like a solid piece of furniture without any travel. Looks like it can take abuse
- The seat although bulky is extremely comfortable and I finally can play for long stretches of time without getting back tired.

This is one of the purchases that I use every day and this throne ticks all of the boxes I wanted

Bigger than expected, but very solid

This is the most money I've spent on a drum stool and it was worth every penny.

I'm around 180cm and while "traditional" screw-mounted stools should on paper be just enough, I found that them more and more unstable and a bit too short.

This stool was a drastic change for me, in a good way. The shaped stool is very large and quite firm, I found it very comfortable from the beginning. Finding the correct height with the stepped adjustments was very fast.

The legs are much longer than other stools, I had to experiment a bit on how fit them with my kit, thankfully the process was quite easy and fast.

The central tube it quite a bit wider than other styles of stools and this, coupled with the longer legs, make this the most stable stool I ever used. It made me feel like an idiot for always going with the "normal" stools before, and now I can drum with a completely different feel.

Great working chair for the Aeron-incompatible.
SebastianJames 09.03.2022
I'm not a drummer; I just needed a stool that I can perch on comfortably, because the fabled Aeron just wants to fold my back and hips in ways they don't like.

The good:
It's very comfortable, and setup is easy. Adjusting the height is nice and simple.

The bad:
It squeaks loudly every time you shift your weight. This was easily fixed with WD-40, so this is an FYI rather than a reason not to buy.
The locking screw comes loose quickly and easily, so the saddle doesn't stay fixed in place. I haven't found a solution for this; I just reach down and tighten it whenever I feel it wobbling and swivelling. This is why I deducted a point for stability.

Overall, it almost entirely lives up to K&M standards - I don't expect to ever wear this thing out.
