Rockboard Pedalsafe Type D2 universal

I chose this Rockboard Pedalsafe Type D2 to cover, view and most importantly, to protect my MXR 10 Band Equalizer M108S’ settings from being accidently moved.
It fits nice and snug after a little fiddling but works like a charm.
My reasons aren’t like many other people. First off, I should mention that I am totally deaf in my right ear and partially deaf in my left which I’ve come just say “my good ear”.
My otolaryngologist and audiologist both agreed to help me find the absolute perfect frequency settings for me to hear everything that all of you hear by using their medical equipment machines and computers to perfectly adjust the MXR 10 Band Equalizer M108S that I bought here.

I’ve been playing guitar since 1965 and I wasn’t about to stop but I needed real help hearing it... all of it.
This Pedalsafe cover is a God send, just as my MXR 10 Band Equalizer M108S that fits into it.
Also, I have two baby grandchildren that when visiting grandpa, they love to walk all over my pedalboard to see and hear all the pretty lights and sounds. This puts my heart at ease to all of that. :)

Ich habe mir den Pedalsafe für meinen MXR 10 Band Equalizer gekauft, da bei dem leider schon ein kleiner teil eines Schiebereglers im Bühneneinsatz abgebrochen war. Da Thomann den Pedalsafe als Bundleoption für den MXR anbietet, dachte ich der wird schon passen, allerdings kann man wenn man den Pedalsafe wie vorgesehen über das Pedalsteckt, die Schieberegler des Equalizers nicht mehr bis nach ganz unten verschieben ohne dass sich die Gummihülle wölbt und dadurch der Plastikdeckel welcher über den Reglern sitzt lockert.
Wer also keine Frequenz ganz cutten will oder wem der locker sitzende Deckel egal ist, kann den Pedalsafe auch mit diesem Pedal kombinieren.

Ein weiteres Manko, welches allerdings rein optischer Natur ist, war, dass der Gummianteil des Pedalsafes bei mir deutlich vergilbt war. Man erkennt also ganz deutlich den unterschied zwischen dem unteren Gummiteil und dem oberen Plastikdeckel. Das hat mich persönlich zwar wenig gestört, aber für Pedalboardästheten könnte dies ein Ausschlusskriterium sein.

Ansonsten ist die Schutzhülle bisher stabil und tut ihren Job, allerdings bei meinem Pedal nur mit Kompromissen.
