Endemic Failure

The Sennheiser HD-25 are the industry standard—great sound, plenty of power, beautiful bass, lightweight—they have it all. The only problem is the endemic failure of the connectors in the earcups; almost all of them start to fail after about two years of regular use. I contacted the brand, and they have no intention whatsoever of updating the design. This is the fifth pair I’ve bought, I don’t know any better ones for this purpose.
