330 Curious ?

If you're like me and have been hunting for an affordable P90 Hollowbody that resembles the legend from the big guitar company, the Thinline 30 is a good bet.
As a previous reviewer mentions, the neck is NOT skinny like a Casino, feels more like the newer Epiphone 50's ES335 necks I've tried.
It sits very comfortably in ( my ) big hands.
I love the P90 growl. They're my first P90's so I have no comparsion, but I can get Barry Cadogan tones pretty close.
My only minor gripe - the photo's give it a watermelon hue, when it is definitely blonde, and not a deal breaker for me.
It's still early days for me with this guitar, but so far I'm very happy.
If you're importing this to Canada - I'm on the West Coast, the tax / duty came to $270 CAD if that colours your decisicion

Stanford CR TL 30

Very good in general but couple of flaws which will cost you 200-300 EUR on top of new instrument.
Fret finish in terms of gloss and end finish is very good but leveling is not existing at all, literally all frets are different levels !
Secondly the bridge is very pure quality, not possible to intonate as the screws are simply not movable! This is probably because they already are at the edge of limit but need clearly more..
Feels very good in hand, weighs literally nothing. Sounds good. Pots seems to be very high quality, tuners work well and overall work and finish is very good exept these 2 points in this particulare specimen.
Should nitro lacquer need to smell somehow pleasent? In my experience it should. This one has absolutely no smell what so ever. Is it some kind of new nitro?
In conclusion, I do not want to spend up to EUR 300.- to make it playable so regrettably it goes back. Unfortunately that kind of minor but costly flaws are present in too many cases lately. It would be kind of bearable if the cost would be under 500.-, but around 1200 .- it is a shame if the rest of workmanship is great.
