Simple, future-proof

A basic but functional power distributor.

Positive:
- No attached power cable - setup is easier and cleaner.
- Compatible with PowerCon TRU1 in and through (not Neutrik hardware), which seems likely to be the industry standard for the foreseeable future.
- Angled outlets make it easy to fit straight and right-angle plugs in tight racks.
- Possibility to reverse the rack ears.

No major issues, but some missing nice-to-haves:
- LED to indicate presence of power.
- Power switch - not essential since TRU1 can be disconnected under load (i.e. it's safe to just pull the plug even without a switch) but it would sometimes be nice to power off this rack without powering off whatever is connected to the power through connector.
- The power in+through connection block is permanently attached; it's not possible to re-attach it the other way up. If you want the power connectors on the left-hand side of the rack, they will be upside down.

we are going true1 with al our racks, and this unit solves a lot of problems for us.

It even includes a TR1 cable at a great price.

an other reviewer told you cant detach the TR1 connecter but you actually can, it are regular bolts but without a bit slot they used.

If I can make 2 suggestions to Thomann, give it a small neon lamp to check if power is on. And add a transparent heat shrink to the cable.

Endlich wieder ein Rack-Verteiler mit TR1 Ausgang

Ich habe schon länger nach einer Rack-Stromverteilung mit PowerCon TR1 Eingang und Durchschliff gesucht. Und endlich gibt es wieder eine Lösung dafür. Beim Ursprünglichen Bau meines Systemracks musste ich auf eine Adam Hall Stromverteilung ohne TR1 Ausgang ausweichen. Diese kann ich nun guten Gewissens wieder ausbauen.

Die Verarbeitung ist soliden und die Passform erwartungsgemäß passend. Also werde ich da sicherlich noch mehr von kaufen!

Solides Teil mit Power-Twist-Anschluss. Schön ist auch, dass man die Rackohren drehen und so bestimmen kann, ob die Anschlüsse innen oder außen liegen sollen. Mit der Power-Twist-Dose gehe ich mit einem Adapterkabel auf meine 3-fach-PowerCon-Verteiler für Bühnenstrom und brauche vom örtlichen Techniker nur noch einen 230 V-Anschluss für die ganze Band.
