Cette guitare est très certainement le meilleur investissement que j’ai pu faire.
Elle est polyvalente, elle crie, pleure, tire ses sons exactement comme Corgan.
Avec une Big Muff, un Phase 100 et un bon ampli, cette guitare est une reconstitution des sons des Smash. Ce qui est fascinant c’est de voir qu’elle est capable de sonner très bien comme Corgan mais aussi bien métal, rock, folk, indie et ect. Incroyable.
Le manche est doux et agréable, tout est calculé pour être confortable et malléable

I purchased the Reverend Billy Corgan Drop Z from Thomann and I can confidently say this guitar exceeded all my expectations.

The neck profile combined with the slightly wider frets is a real blessing for my chunky fingers—chording feels secure, bends are easy, and overall accuracy is noticeably improved.
The build quality is flawless. Everything feels solid, precise, and clearly well thought out—from the hardware to the finish. This is a professional-grade instrument in every sense.
The 26 1/4” scale length is perfect for lower tunings: tight, focused, and stable with no flabbiness whatsoever. At the same time, it performs surprisingly well in standard tuning, maintaining clarity and balance across the entire fretboard. Tuning stability is excellent—the guitar holds tuning extremely well, even with aggressive playing.
The pickups are truly in a league of their own. They are highly articulate and detailed, with great note separation, yet they deliver a serious punch when pushed. Whether playing heavy riffs, complex chords, or lead lines, the guitar remains clear, dynamic, and responsive. It effortlessly handles both crushing distortion and cleaner, more nuanced tones.
Additional highlights include the guitar’s excellent balance, comfortable body shape, and overall ergonomic design, which make it a joy to play both seated and standing. It feels like an instrument that was designed by players, for players.
