Excellent Quality HSS creator

Ok so I've always been a fan of the strat shape guitar.
The best option for me is the HSS configuration. This pick up provides that perfectly without having to change the strat pick guard.

Perfect PAF humbucker sound.
No need to install a 500k pot. The sl59 is voiced for stock 250k pots. You can split the coils if you wish or install a super switch to get the traditional bridge/middle setting. I just wired it in as a humbucker and I am well happy with it.

I needed parchment colour to match my pick up covers and scratch plate. Thomann where the only retailer with the options I needed.

The customer service and tracking info are second to none.

I'm a UK buyer so pay the shipping for orders under £150. I just always add extras to my basket to get me over the £150, a few sets of strings etc.

I'm super happy with the product and service. I'll be back for sure

Mounted into fender ultra SSS as bridge. Easy to install and it works and sounds really great.

Ich wollte aus meiner SSS-Strat (Squier Classic Vibe 60s) eine SSH-Strat machen, ohne fräsen zu müssen. Der SL59 ließ sich einfach einbauen und passt perfekt in die Singleoil-Aussparung.

Der Sound ist baurtbedingt nicht so fett wie ein vollwertiger Humbucker, aber das war auch nicht mein Ziel. Ich wollte eher eine weniger schrille Sound-Option am Steg und das erledigt der SL59 wunderbar.

Clean klingt er in Einzelstellung nach cleanem Humbucker (logischerweise). Für mich kein Sound, den ich wirklich "brauche", aber er macht das, was Bridge-Humbucker bei cleanen Einstellungen halt so machen. Angezerrt wird es schon interessanter: Fetter als ein Bridge-Singlecoil und schön dynamisch. Bei richtiger Zerre singt der Pickup sehr schön melodisch ohne die aufdringlichen Höhen und vor allem natürlich ohne die Nebengeräusche, die der Singlecoil vorher hatte.

Besonders überrascht hat mich die Zwischenposition mit dem mittleren Singlecoil. Ich hatte mich auf Abstriche eingestellt, aber in der Position habe ich in meinen Ohren den waschechten Position-2-Sound, den diese Position ausmacht. Kompliment, hätte ich nicht gedacht!

Mission erfüllt, klare Kaufempfehlung.

Excellent, Mortel, ça déboite,
J'avais un micro Seymour duncan custom shop en chevalet sur ma strat,
ce n'est plus la même guitare.
Transformation absolue, je suis collé en position manche, Son vintage, ça riff, ça crunch, ça blues , jazz, moelleux, pas aigre....une strat qui fait du ACDC ou du Led zep, ZZ top , j'adore , ca trip gibson......Foncez sans hesitation
