Beautiful guitar, I'm very happy about it but there are some issues...
My Floyd Rose nut would not lock the 1st and 2nd strings because the head mounting screw is too high, higher than my string, so the locking nut is clamping down on the screw instead of the string, I received a replacement because of this issue but it had the exact same issue! Currently I've contacted ESP about this since Thomann obviously isn't responsible for this but beware there may be a bad batch of guitars out there right now.

The sound of the pickup is a little underwhelming for metal without the boost that Alexi uses, a bit muddy and thin, replaced it with a SD Black Winter pickup and now it sounds like a beast!

Looks are subjective but I'm totally in love with this thing!
The build quality (aside from the bad locking nut) is good, the paint job is near perfect and the neck feels really comfortable.

The guitar does not have that many features but i personally don't need any of that and prefer the clean look of guitars like this with just a single pickup and a volume knob and that's it, so for me that's a good thing.

I would really recommend this guitar but beware the possible issues it has now!

Spiele schon sehr lange Jackson Rhodes Modele in der Preiß Klasse um die 800 € und bin mit diesen Gitarren sehr zufrieden....meine liebste hat mir als Geburtstags Geschenk diese Wunderschöne Alexi zukommen lassen...nun zur Bewertung....Mega coole Axe...Verarbeitung ,Einstellung ab Werk bei meinem Model alles super...Mehr geht nicht...Der mitgelieferte original ESP Koffer (sehr groß) schützt das Baby so wie es soll...Die Gitarre hat nur ein Poti....Laut und leise...Aber hey mehr braucht man auf der Bühne im Metal Bereich nicht....Sound im Hi Gain Bereich ist sehr direkt und richtig gut... Die scalloped Bünde empfinde ich als sehr hilfreich...gerade auf der H und E Saite ab dem 17 Bund verhungern manchmal und Töne kommen nicht sauber rüber...Hier schon...Das macht richtig Spaß.. Das 1000 er Floyd Rose arbeitet sehr sauber und es macht richtig Laune Dive Bombs etc.einzusetzten,ohne schlechtem Gewissem das sich die Gitarre verstimmt ...Hell Yeah....Aber auch im clean Bereich lässt dieses Beast keine Wünsche offen....Ich dachte immer(spiele schon über 40 Jahre) das Gitarren in dieser Preiß Klasse keine Sinnvolle Investition sind..Nun ich wurde eines besseren belehrt....Im direktem Vergleich zu meinen Jacksons ist diese Alexi schon ne ganz andere Liga...Klar der Preiß ist heftig, aber bei dieser Axe gerechtfertigt..

Sehr präziser Sound und sie lässt sich super spielen. Die Verarbeitung ist auch perfekt, von daher hat sich die Wartezeit von einem halben Jahr gelohnt…

This guitar is simply a dream, it looks amazing and it sounds even better. The staff of Thomann provided a great service and I will definitely purchase from them again.
