Je souhaitais une strat et après avoir longtemps regardé les essais et comparaisons des différentes marques et ne souhaitant pas acheter une Fender dont le prix n'a jamais été justifié selon moi, je me suis tourné vers Sire.

Sur le papier, les specs et équipement étaient top.
Table , touche, mécaniques autobloquantes, HSS, Split...
Si j'avais voulu ça sur une Fender, c'était une US à 2500e...

J'ai reçu la bête après une rapidité relative de nos amis UPS qui reprogramme les livraisons au petit bonheur la chance, mais bon.

1ere impression, elle est assez lourde et j'aime beaucoup ça . La table est magnifique, le manche parfait et la touche exceptionnelle.
Niveau finition, il y a quelques petits défauts. Un petit sur le vernis et une coulure au niveau de la tête mais très discrète. Mais en gardant à l'esprit le tarif , 2 fois moins cher qu'une mexicaine, ce n'est pas très grave .

Une fois branchée, je suis aux anges. Le son des simples est bien typé strat et le humbucker est précis en splité et plus gras en normal. C'est vraiment ce que je cherchais.
Bien-sûr il faut passer par la case réglages, tonalité etc .
Petite réflexion pour les constructeurs ou revendeurs, pourquoi mettre des cordes de marque avec une pub pour dire que ce sont de super cordes, si de toute façon on doit les changer parce qu'elles n'arrivent jamais sans marques d'oxydation. Dans ce cas, mettez un jeu de cordes neuves directement dans la boîte ...

Sinon vraiment content de mon achat , rapport qualité prix imbattable et Thomann toujours au top

The hype around the Sire S7 is well deserved — this guitar is extremely well made. If you’re not overly concerned with brand prestige, this one deserves a serious look. The fretwork is amazing, easily on par with my PRS, and the rolled fretboard edges add a touch of comfort that makes playing an absolute joy. The finish is flawless, though if you’re a perfectionist, you might notice a few very minor imperfections on the gloss fretboard near the frets — nothing drastic, but worth mentioning.

The tremolo has a solid, heavy block and holds tuning exceptionally well. The roasted maple neck looks stunning and feels very premium under your hand. Tone-wise, it delivers exactly what you want: the neck pickup is my favorite, giving a great bluesy growl, while every other position also sounds very nice. The push-push switch for the humbucker coil split works perfectly, giving you both full humbucker and split-coil tones that are genuinely good — a rare find in this price range.

The only real downside is the nut: the slots are too thin, which can make the E, B, and G strings stick when using the tremolo or tuning. On the bright side, this is an easy fix if you have some basic knowledge of how to use a file — much better than if the slots were too wide, which would require a full nut replacement.

Overall, this guitar feels premium, plays beautifully, and is a real joy to own. Honestly, these are great times for cash-strapped guitarists — you can get a high-end feel without selling your kidney. She’s a keeper.
